FAQs
Installing our ground mount clothesline involves setting the posts securely into the ground using concrete footings. You’ll need to dig two holes (around 200mm in diameter), position the posts at the correct spacing and ensure everything is level before pouring concrete to lock it in place.
Once the concrete has set, the frame components can be assembled and bolted together, followed by feeding and tensioning the line. While the process is straightforward with the right tools, it does require careful measuring and setup. If you’d rather not handle it yourself, Outback Clotheslines can install your ground mount clothesline for you, making sure it’s set up correctly and ready to use.
A ground mount clothesline is designed to handle everyday household loads, including heavier items like towels, bedding and doonas. Thanks to the fully welded galvanised steel frame and strong line spacing, it can support a full wash without sagging when installed correctly. The exact capacity depends on the size you choose and how the weight is distributed, but it is built to manage regular family laundry with ease.
Your ground mount clothesline does not arrive fully pre-assembled, as this ensures safe transport and prevents damage during delivery. However, it’s designed for straightforward assembly with clear instructions provided. Most components are pre-fabricated, so it’s a matter of putting the main structure together on-site.
Orders are typically dispatched within 7 working days, with delivery taking an additional 3 to 5 working days depending on your area and the courier network.
